SCINEMA : International Science Film Festival

Join us, during National Science Week, for the largest science film festival in the southern hemisphere, the SCINEMA International Science Film Festival presented by Australia’s Science Channel, RiAus.

SCINEMA is the largest science film festival in the southern hemisphere showcasing the best in science cinema from around the world. SCINEMA is a celebration of the power of the moving image to inspire the young, satisfy the curious, explain the baffling and ask the impossible.

Hosted by the Coffs Coast Regional Science Hub in collaboration with Southern Cross University and funding assistance from Coffs Harbour City Council through the Arts Cultural Grant program, we will be screening a compilation of short films on animals and those who study them. Recommended for lovers of the furry, feathery, scaly and slimy!

The evening will include an intermission with free canapes and soft drinks. The evening will also include a discussion session on the importance of connecting the community with art and science.

Bring your friends and family along – we look forward to seeing you there!

Please note that tickets are limited so book your tickets now.
