Climate Change Science – Pre Anima Mundi Film
Presenter: Andrew Turbill, National Parks and Wildlife Service
Location: North Coast Regional Botanic Gardens
Time: 5 – 6.30pm Climate Science presentation
7pm Film screening starts
Description: This engaging and up to date presentation establishes a big picture perspective of what are the planetary and human level drivers of climate change, why it is potentially lethal for much of contemporary global civilisation and what we absolutely must do about it within the decade. And we have some laughs along the way.
This is followed by screening of a new film Anima Mundi. Will you survive the transition of human industrial civilization happening now due to peak oil and climate change? Can you see the forest for the trees, the earth for the dream, the universe for the seed? Anima Mundi is an innovative documentary about the planetary animal called Gaia and the human animal we deny, we deny at our own peril, yet a peril that is perfect in design.
