Bowraville Community Garden

“A garden of opportunities for all, where you can look, listen, learn or be at leisure.”

This is the vision for the recently launched Bowraville Community Gardens, an initiative of the Bowraville Central School and located on the corner of Young & Cook Streets. Our Living Coast was pleased to help establish this beautiful space with a small community grant.

The garden will feature fruit trees, vegetable gardens, a herb garden, flower garden, yarning circle & educational ampitheatre. The community see this as a long term project and eventually they aim to have a part time coordinator position as well as use transformative education methods to create alternative classrooms.
