The Coffs Harbour Sustainable Living Festival at the Botanic Gardens may not be going ahead this year, but in response to community feedback, we’ve gone back to basics and are proud to present something quite different..
The Fair is a proud collaboration between Coffs Harbour City Council and COFFS REGIONAL COMMUNITY GARDENS and held at their bustling gardens space on
The event is much smaller scale than its predecessor and is a grass-roots, family friendly, roll up the sleeves and get hands-on kind of day- full of free workshops, creative activities and kid-friendly fun!
Kick back in the shaded grounds and enjoy some yummy affordable food whilst local Gumbaynggirr culinary legend Clayton Donovan cooks up an on stage bush tucker feast.. Enjoy the joyful vibe of bluegrass legends ‘The Mid North’ huddling around the microphone as kids frolic in the cardboard cubby village adjacent. Have a fossick around in the Living Lightly Suitcase Rummage – a mini market featuring the grooviest of secondhand and upcycled wares..Get hands-on with some of the all day free workshops and craft activities including driftwood mobile making, Aboriginal crafts, wishing tree, sustainable festive season card making and so much more.. Plant a tree, pot a plant and decorate your own clay pot.. The activities are growing and still being finalised so keep your eye on this space for all the exciting updates.
The event is also home to the Coffs Harbour leg of the Our Living Coast Sustainability Roadshow – a travelling festival of ideas, inspiration, and hands-on workshops on all things sustainable.
