Coffs Ambassador for ‘Coffs Rainforest Walk’
In 2010 Lindy was inspired to volunteer as a Coffs Ambassador, after seeing first hand how rewarding it could be from her good friend who was already an Ambassador. She has a strong personal commitment to protecting the environment and had been fulfilling this through her work as co-convenor of the Eastern Dorrigo Landcare group and as a full-time professional bush regenerator.
Lindy felt that being an Ambassador would be another way that she could give back to the community and share her passion for the natural world. She chose Bruxner Park as a tour location because of her connection with the rainforests and tall eucalypt forests of the Coffs Coast, having lived on a bush property in the Coffs hinterland for nearly 30 years.
Since becoming an Ambassador, Lindy has not slowed in her environmental endeavours and in 2012 formed the Green Bluff Headland Care group at Moonee with her fellow Ambassador Sandy.
