Spend the low tide rambling the rock pool platform at Woolgoolga viewing a diversity of species and learning about our marine environment.

Woolgoolga rock platform is part of the Solitary Islands Marine Park and at low tide, it provides an accessible way to look at sea life. During this session we will learn about the different species that inhabit the intertidal zone and the importance that they play to the web of life. We may spot marine animals like sea slugs, star fish and with any luck, an octopus.

Age: 7+ years * This tour is not designed as a childrens program, however children are welcome to attend as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Location: Meeting at the car park on the beach at the southern end of Woolgoolga Main Beach behind the new surf club. Please contact us if you are not sure where to meet.

Accessibility: Please keep in mind that the location of this tour is not wheelchair or pram friendly due to the rock platform surface and sand the tour will take place upon. However there is accessible parking, outdoor seating and toilets.
