Nature Apprenticeship- 6 Month Journey

Join us for a six month journey of deepening your sense of belonging to the Coffs Coast.

City of Coffs Harbour is offering its popular 6-month Nature Apprenticeship program designed to help you deepen your sense of belonging and perhaps ignite or strengthen a commitment to care for where we love.

Sample Topics: All sessions will be co-led with Gumbaynggirr knowledge holders and include topics such as Respecting Country, Weaving, Foraging, Ecological Tracking/Awareness and Bird Language.

Commitment: 1 full day per month for a period of 6 months from January-June 2026. You are also encourage to undertake home study/practicals that are assigned each month.

Cost: $300 per participant inclusive of all 6 sessions.

Location: Various locations on the Coffs Coast including the Botanic Gardens, Sealy Lookout, Arrawarra and Yarrawarra.

Dates: January 31st, February 21st, March 14th, April 12th, May 23rd and June 27th.

All sessions run from 10am until 4pm.

Who: You must be over 18yrs to attend.
