Preserving Fruit and Veg. Introduction to freezing, dehydrating, pressure canning, water bath preserving, jam making, chutneys, sauces & fermentation (kim chi, sauerkraut, pickles, etc). This workshop will show you how to extend the use of your bountiful harvest across the seasons & the year.
About the facilitator: Chris was the inaugural Garden Co-ordinator who guided the garden to its current stage & is the past Secretary. John is the current President/Treasurer. They have lived in Sawtell for 38 years & are currently ALMOST self sufficient on a standard 720M2 suburban block.
