Plastic Free July 2019

This July, join the global movement to address one of our greatest environmental challenges – plastic pollution. Plastic Free July (PFJ) is about avoiding single-use plastics – especially straws, plastic bags, plastic bottles and disposable cutlery and coffee cups. There are solutions to avoid or eliminate all of these items so why not start your own personal revolution and #choosetorefuse.

Sign up to the Plastic Free July challenge here:

All you have to do is pledge to cut out, or replace, the use of single-use plastic throughout July and hopefully begin a lifelong habit. Whether it’s at home, in your workplace or at school, there are ways you can get involved.

Coffs Harbour City Council and Bellingen Shire Council are hosting events this July. Connect to Our Living Coast enews or follow us on Facebook to find out more or check out our links below for ideas on how you can participate in 2019.
