Important Announcement for our Community

From the Sustainable Living team at Coffs Harbour City Council, we would like to express our very best wishes to our community during this challenging time.

Council is taking a risk management approach to the pandemic and seeking to minimise any potential impact. In a precautionary measure, that complies with the current public health advice, all Sustainable Living Programs, including our Living Lightly workshops and our Coffs by Nature tours, will be postponed until April 14 – at which point they will be reviewed.

We will also be postponing this year’s Harmony Festival, which was due to be held on March 29 until further notice, as per the directive issued by the NSW Government to not run events at which 500 or more people are expected.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our community, employees and volunteers is of paramount importance for Coffs Harbour City Council and we are following the advice of the Australian Government, World Health Organisation (WHO) and NSW Health in the implementation of measures to help minimise any possible infections and to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

We know that Sustainable Living Program workshops and events and Harmony Festival are much loved elements of our community life, and we thank you for your understanding as we work together to face an unprecedented global challenge and to look out for each other at this time.
